Decoding the Trump–Putin Summit: What No One Is Saying

Every gesture and remark told a different story

At the Alaska press conference, President Vladimir Putin slipped in something most of the world overlooked. He called out US secondary sanctions on India, China, Brazil, and others — but in a calculated way. By noting that US–Russia trade has risen 20% since President Trump took office, Putin exposed a contradiction: Washington is punishing others for trading with Moscow, even as its own trade with Russia expands.

This was just one glimpse of the geopolitical dance in Alaska between two Cold War rivals — a dance revealed in every gesture, every remark. Much of the summit unfolded in the subtext, with clues and cues about what lies ahead for Ukraine and beyond.

👉 The Alaska summit wasn’t just about what was said — it was about what was revealed. Watch my complete minute-by-minute reaction to see the signals and stakes others missed.
