At the beginning of November 2024, Pakistan tested a new ballistic missile that can be launched from a ship. Nicknamed SMASH (Supersonic Missile Anti-Ship), it has a range of 350 kilometers and will expand the reach of the Pakistani navy if a war breaks out. While this was a significant development for South Asia, it did not raise eyebrows globally.
